Spring Term is slowly coming to an end.  Remember clocks go forward at 2am on Sunday morning.

This Sunday lots of local churches will be having a Palm Sunday Service.  All churches would be delighted to see you if you wish to attend.  Our children have been given a Palm Cross today to keep and to remember that we start Holy Week.  Rev Steve Burch is leading assembly every day next week at 9:00am to tell the Easter Story.  Parents are welcome to join us.

We have had another busy week at Leigh.  Our Year 6 spent last Monday at Network Rail on Westwood Road, working on our special career related learning project.  The children had cookery sessions, made a clock and investigated the traits of their characters.  We had a brilliant time!

Players from Coventry Rugby Football Club led assembly on Thursday.  Children learned a lot about the game, tickets still available in the school office for tomorrow’s game (£5.00 per adult, children free).

Our Year 4 performed their Cov Kool Kids songs in our Friday afternoon assembly.  They will be going to Corpus Christi School on Tuesday to perform with other schools.

On Wednesday next week parents are invited to join us in a special afternoon assembly when a Year 4/5 group learn and perform a “musical in a day”.  The performance is at 2:45pm.

Please remember that we close our school at 2:30pm on Thursday and re-open on Monday 19th April 2010
